New Condominium Complex Planned by CenturyLink Field

July 21, 2014

A multistory, 106-unit condominium complex is planned for development at the corner of Occidental Avenue and Railroad Way South, across the street from CenturyLink Field. The century old building will be renovated for residential as well as commercial use, with over 9,000 square feet of space for restaurants and other enterprises on the ground floor level.

The inventory of condominiums in King and Snohomish counties has been growing in recent years as developers have shifted away from building apartment complexes, especially in and around Downtown. Although approximately 16,000 units are being developed across the two counties, new condo inventory is picking up, with 500 units being developed in Downtown and Ballard alone.

Kevin Daniels of Daniels Real Estate has proposed to purchase the property from investors at Lakeside Capital Management. He has retained Hewitt to design the complex and plans to start as soon as he receives the proper permits from the city.
